125th Anniversary Kick-off! Friday September 27th marked the anniversary of the organizational meeting that lead to the founding of Bishop Ridley College. The historic decisions and actions during this meeting at Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto secured the choice of Springbank Sanatorium in St. Catharines as Ridley's future home. In just one year, the school would be in operation. 125 years later, former and current board members met at Wycliffe College to celebrate this momenteous occasion and to kickoff Ridley College's 125th anniversary celebrations. Over 600 students, faculty and staff formed a 1-2-5 in front of Lower School and a schoolwide photo was taken. How did we manage that you might ask? Six speakers presented including three ORs (Bruce Croxon '79, Alison Loat '94 and Nathaniel Houghton '07) and then three think tank discussion sessions were held. Participants were challenged to consider what tomorrow’s world will look like and how education can prepare our students for success. We thank those who were able to attend, if you were unable to attend and would like to watch the video of the speakers and provide feedback please click here.
