Nine Lessons and Carols
On Saturday and Sunday evening we held our annual Nine Lessons and Carols Service. The Candlelight Service is a Ridley tradition that celebrates the birth of Christ told in nine short Bible readings, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols and hymns. Dragon's Den Bruce Croxon '79 At Ridley
Alumni Bruce Croxon '79 (Co-Founder of Lavalife and Celebrity Judge on Dragon's Den) returned to campus in late November to speak to the Ridley family about Dragon's Den, being an entrepreneur and the influence that Ridley College had on his life. Please click here to view video from the event.

Ridley Family Hockey Tournament
Grab a few friends, lace up your skates and toss on a Ridley hockey jersey one more time for the 1st Annual Ridley Family Hockey Tournament on Saturday, February 9th, 2013. We invite you to participate in this non-contact, co-ed, adults only (19 years +) tournament open to all members of the Ridley Family. You can sign-up a full team (we recommend 10 skaters and a goaltender), part of team or as an individual and we will do our best to match you up. The registration fee is $50/per player and includes the cost of referees, food, libations and some Ridley swag. Please email bryan_rose@ridleycollege.com for details and to register.

Harris Alumni Directory Clarification
Once again, the Advancement Office has reached an agreement with Harris Connect – a company that publishes Alumni Directories for colleges, universities and independent schools throughout North America. Please note, that this particular publication is only available to graduates of the School.  Recently you should have received an email and/or a postcard from Ridley requesting you call a toll-free number to confirm your contact information.  The toll-free number you have been asked to call is not Ridley, but rather Harris Connect’s Call Centre. They will ask you to verify your information for publication in the newest version of the Ridley College Alumni Today directory. We hope that you will take a few minutes to contact them to ensure we get as complete of a listing as possible.  They will also ask if you would like to purchase a copy of the finished product. There is no obligation to buy a copy, however we encourage you to do so as it is a wonderful resource (Ridley does not make any money from the sale of this product).  If you have any questions about this process, please do not hesitate to contact Bryan Rose ’96, Acting Director of Advancement at (905) 684-1889, ext. 2324 or bryan_rose@ridleycollege.com.  We are excited to partner with Harris Connect to provide a new version of the directory and appreciate your time in contacting Harris at 1-888-735-0822 Monday to Friday between 8:00 am – 11:00 pm (EST).
